Eliminated Cross-Threading
Costly scrap and rework for an antomotive transmission manufacturer resulted from the cross-threading of machine screws in tapped holes.To solve this problem and eliminate expensive tapping operations,Lian Wang Fasteners  suggested they use Taptite thread rolling fasteners for joining internal and external components to transmissions. The unique tri-lobular shape of the Taptite fastener also improved resistance to vibration loosening and thermal cycling,without a thread locking device or adhesive.

Reduce the Cost & Increase the Efficiency
An andio manufacturer faced a production-line low efficiency problem when it utilized a combination of screw and copper sleeve to assembly a transmission lever arm. In order to solve this problem,a shoulder screw was recommended to alternate the former combination. As a result ,this design streamlined the assembly,improved the products consistency and reduced the in-place cost correspondingly.

Improved Assembly Line Productivity
A major automotive manufacturer was experiencing delays and down-time on their door hinge assembly line, as a result of unseated or stripped out fasteners. To solve these problems ,the manufacturer replaced the type C screws they were using with a Taptite threadrolling fastener. The Taptite fasteners. which provide ease of starting and require lower driving torque,greatly reduced down-time and line repairs,thereby improving assembly line productivity.
